XP Peer To Peer Network Sharing Fix
You Are Visitor Number To This Page Since April 29, 2008
This is one fix for that dreaded error;
\\Comp_Name is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource.
Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.
I did all kinds of thing to try and resolve this issue on my own in house network, everything form re-installing SP2 to modifying the security policies. None of them seemed to work. I finally found a way to get my XP systems sharing files again. There are some pics to help you along. Note the actual computer name has been blanked out and replaced with "Comp_Name". Of course your computer's name would be in that location. And you should also be aware that you do this procedure at your own risk. No liablility shall be incurred by Linear Logic Consulting for the results of your own try at this.
